Pass Plus in Abergele

Had a great day Pass Plus Training today with Chris from Abergele, Chris wanted to do the pass plus course to help reduce his insurance costs. After arriving at Chris’s in Abergele we then drove along the A55 through to ¬†Llandudno Junction where we filled the car up with petrol, this made for good practice driving into a petrol station forecourt.

From here we drove down the A470 through Llanrwst and onto the A5 through to Llangollen, this was to cover the country roads module, we covered all of the usual hazards such as tractors and horse riders, as well as some relativly high speed driving through the windy A5.

From Llangollen we drove to Wrexham, and covered the urban driving module, we dealt with some busy multi lane roundabouts, as well as all the usual town centre hazards, including a couple of drunks walking in the road to the match.

Then it was onwards to the Gresford Roundabout, and on to Chester to pick up the M56 motorway and we followed this through to Manchester airport, which is where we turned around and headed back to Abergele, through Deeside and the A55 dual Carriageway .

With four of the pass plus modules covered we bieifly discussed the Night time driving and driving in different weather conditions,

Now that the course is complete and all the paperwork is done the pass plus certificate will be issued, and hopefully that will reduce the cost of Chris’s insurance.
