What will happen on my first driving lesson
If it is your very first lesson then you will be driven to a quiet area in or around Llandudno, this is where you will be able to become familiar with the controls of the vehicle. Our driving instructor will help you with moving off in the car and stopping safely.
How long should I book for my first driving lesson?
The optimal amount of time for a driving lesson is around 90 minutes,most learners tend to lose their concentration after this time. For your first few lessons an hour can be enough, however with the nearest driving test centres being in either Rhyl or Bangor you should consider that 2 hour lessons will be necessary as you get closer to the driving test.
What do I need to bring to my first driving lesson?
We will need to see your provisional driving licence at the beginning of your first lesson. Other than that just make sure that you are wearing comfortable shoes and you will be ready to go.
Do I need to pass a theory test?
You can begin your lessons before passing the theory test, however you will need to pass the theory test before you can book your practical test.
Do you provide help for the theory test?
Yes, all of our students will have full access to theorytest pro online training for the driving theory test.

Your closest theory test centre to Abergele is located at 3 Bodfor St, Rhyl LL18 1AS

What roads will I go on my driving test ?
You will be taken on a variety of roads around your chosen test centre, Bangor test routes are quite hilly, while Rhyl is very flat so hill starts are not a big issue in Rhyl.Both test centres will have routes which incorporate the A55 expressway and you should be confident on faster roads and major roundabouts before attempting the driving test
